SEATTLE, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Four-year-old Krystal from Bellevue,
Wash. had a dream of being a princess in a movie, just like Cinderella. She
was also determined to live happily ever after, like all princesses, after
completing treatment for an abdominal tumor last year.
Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Redmond High Schools performing
arts department, her wish was granted last Saturday, November 19. Krystals
wish marks the 3000th wish granted by the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish
Foundation.
Krystals princess adventure began with her arriving at Redmond High
School in true star style, via Tammy Wynettes former luxury tour bus, which
was donated as Krystals royal coach for the day. Upon arrival, she was
whisked away to the dressing room where she changed into her custom-made
princess dress and was given star make-up treatment. After donning her
Cinderella slippers, Krystals transformation into a princess was complete and
she took off for the stage, ready to begin filming her long-anticipated movie.
For the next two hours, Krystals every move was captured on film by
Victory Studios as she was guided through different scenes and actions with
her Prince, Fairy Godmother, and other Cinderella characters.
After taking a break, Krystal returned to Redmond High School that night
to watch the schools final performance of Cinderella. Greeted by a huge
welcome banner, Krystal was all smiles as she watched her new friends perform
on stage. Krystal was then invited to take one final dance with Prince
Charming in front of the packed audience and was filled with joy as she joined
the cast during the curtain call. She was then presented with her very own
Cinderella plaque, signed by the entire cast, adding a truly spectacular touch
to a magical day.
At the end of the night, Krystal refused to take off her Cinderella
slippers, wanting to remain a princess forever! The final installment of her
wish, watching the premiere of her own Cinderella movie, is scheduled for
early next year.
Krystals wish is the 3000th wish granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation(R)
of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho & Washington, which grants wishes to
children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human
experience with hope, strength, and joy. Each year, hundreds of children
throughout the Northwest receive a wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For
