PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 16, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of
directors of CIGNA Corporation (NYSE: CI) today set February 28, 2006, as the
record date for shareholders entitled to vote at the companys annual meeting
of shareholders. The meeting will be held at The Gregg Conference Center at
The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26,
2006.
The board also determined that two directors, H. Edward Hanway and Harold
A. Wagner, will be nominated for re-election to three-year terms that expire
in 2009.
