New Board Members Named for 2006
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Vista Maria, a community
that transforms the lives of girls who have faced abuse, neglect and other
challenges names Elizabeth S. Acton as its 2006 Board Chair, the first female
to be elected to serve Vista Maria since its establishment in 1883 by the
Sisters of the Good Shepherd.
Acton, a Superior Township resident, is the Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of Comerica Incorporated. Acton will chair the
Executive Committee and serve on the agencys Celebrating Women Event
Executive Committee.
The agency also names new members of its 20 member Board of Directors and
36 member Advisors to the board.
Elected to three year terms as Board Directors are:
Patricia Pitts of Dearborn, ALPHA Mechanical II Consulting
Jan Bertsch of Willis, DaimlerChrysler
Appointed as Advisor to the Board of Directors for a two year terms is:
Kathleen D. Aznavorian of Plymouth, Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center
