PFA Announces Retort to Malicious and Unfounded Attacks on Judge Alito
WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Progress for America Inc. (PFA) today
announced a week long $150,000 advertising buy to combat the unfair attacks
from People for the American Way and to ensure Americans know that Judge
Samuel Alito is a tremendously qualified judge who deserves to be confirmed.
"Attacks on Judge Alito by People for the American Way sink to a new low in
what should be a dignified debate," said Brian McCabe, PFAs president.
"Their assaults are predictable, malicious and unfounded."
"Our new ad highlights support from those who know Judge Alito well -- his
own clerks. Coming from diverse backgrounds and ideologies, Alitos clerks
know him to have a solid judicial temperament," said McCabe. "Judge Alito
deserves an up or down vote from the U.S. Senate."

stations -- CNN and FOX -- and local cable stations in Maine and Arkansas.
