NIRI Recognizes Chapters Newly Revamped Website and Rich Media Presentation
Capture and Playback as Innovative Services for Members
DENVER, Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Investor Relations Institute
(NIRI) has selected the Rocky Mountain Chapter for its Chairmans Award for
innovation. NIRI recognized the winners earlier this year at its annual
conference held in Hollywood, Fla.
The Rocky Mountain Chapter was recognized for its completely revamped
Website, courtesy of Denver-based identity and branding firm Genesis Inc.
(http://www.genesisinc.com), which offered improved branding and design capabilities,
enhanced navigation ease and increased content. In addition, the Chapter is
the first within NIRI to offer its members online playback of its monthly
programs. Through rich media technology offered by Boulder-based Catapult
PR-IR (http://www.catapultpr-ir.com), members can view any presentation by a simple
click of a button on the Chapters Website and view all the audio, video and
accompanying slides or graphical information for that presentation via the
comfort of their office or home. This is especially important for the Rocky
Mountain Chapter as it reaches out to its 100-plus members -- many of whom
reside outside the Denver, Colo. area where the monthly meetings are held.
"The goal of the Rocky Mountain NIRI Chapter is to promote and advance the
profession of investor relations, in part by providing innovative programs and
services that enrich members professional development," said Linda Dellett,
president of the Rocky Mountain NIRI chapter. "The rich media presentation
capture and playback service, which allows members to view recorded speaker
presentations, and the new, user-friendly Website support this goal, and we
are gratified by the recognition of this award."
NIRI is a professional association primarily comprised of corporate
officers and investor relations consultants responsible for communications
among corporate management, shareholders, security analysts and other
financial publics. NIRIs 4,300 members represent more than 2,100 publicly
held companies in the United States.
